For the first time in almost 20 years, Mick Jagger and Keith Richards have written an album of new music. Hackney Diamonds by the Rolling Stones will feature guest appearances by Lady Gaga and Stevie Wonder. When asked about the inspiration of one of the songs, Tell Me Straight, Richards told reporters: “I can tell you straight that I have no idea what it’s about” before adding “Mick tried to steal it so you know it’s good.”

I feel like we really took our friendship to the next level.” If that doesn’t get people tuning in, I don’t know what will.

British education secretary Gillian Keegan came under fire this week when she was caught giving herself a post-interview pep talk. The interview had focused on crumbling concrete used in the construction of schools. British police pulled over a three-wheeler made up like Del Boy’s Reliant Robin in Only Fools and Horses. The driver had been speeding and Sussex police shared a picture of the car on Twitter/X along with the well-known line: “This time next year we’ll be millionaires.” Then added: “Not when you are stopped doing 43 in a 30 and only have a provisional licence. You plonker Rodney.”
