Night at the Museum 3 Officially Titled Secret of the Tomb
Ben Stiller returns as museum security guard Larry Daley in director Shawn Levy's upcoming adventure set in London.
20th Century Fox has officially titled its third Night at the Museum adventure Night at the Museum: Secret of the Tomb, which is set for release on December 19.
Ben Stiller returns as museum security guard Larry Daley in this new adventure which shifts the action across the pond to London. No story details have been confirmed at this time, but franchise regulars Ricky Gervais (Dr. McPhee), Robin Williams (Teddy Roosevelt) and Dick Van Dyke (Cecil) are returning. Mickey Rooney, who passed away in April, was expected to return as Gus, although it isn’t known if he had filmed his part prior to his passing, since production began in January.
New cast members include Dan Stevens, Rebel Wilson, Ben Kingsley and Carla Gugino. Production is still under way, under the direction of Shawn Levy, who is working from a script by Thomas Lennon and Robert Ben Garant.
