Del Boy’s latest money-making scam lands the Trotters in hot water after planning an illegal fishing trip. With his younger brother Rodney and Grandad in tow the Peckham gang head down to the Southwestern tip to visit Boycie’s weekend cottage.
Armed with three fishing rods they plan to illegally poach fish to sell to Mario at his restaurant. But as they travel through a storm they are welcomed by a policeman who informs the trio that an axe murderer has escaped from the local psychiatric hospital.
Despite the potential risk to life, the Trotters continue on their travels and arrive at the holiday home, but they’re not alone. Following a tense board game, a man is seen outside of the living room window before there’s a knock at the door – and it’s not long before Del Boy is alone with the escapee!
The Friday the 14th episode of Only Fools and Horses was first screened back in 1983.
The episode was a spoof of the popular horror flick Friday the 13th, but obviously laced with a lot more humour and hilarious one-liners.
