Robin Williams’ Daughter Zelda Vows to Keep Her Father’s Legacy Alive

Six months after Robin Williams tragically passed away, the late actor’s daughterZelda Williams, is opening up about life without her beloved dad.

“I think a lot of people feel his absence. But for me, especially, it’s going to take a lot of work to allow myself to have the sort of fun, happy life that I had,” the 25-year-old said in a new interview.

“But that’s important. Anybody who has ever lost anyone works very hard to continue that memory in a positive way,” she continued.

Robin and Zelda shared a laugh at the LA premiere of ‘Happy Feet Two’ in November 2011.

in the sit-down, Zelda revealed it is her mission to keep Robin’s legacy alive in the wake of his ԁеаtһ. One way the actress has honored her father is by getting a tattoo of a hummingbird on her hand.

“Hummingbirds are fun and flighty and strange,” she said of the ink. “It’s hard to keep them in one place, and dad was a bit like that.”

“Keeping a conversation in one moment was impossible with him. It was a bit like trying to put a bag around a storm and hoping it didn’t blow away,” Zelda added.

When asked about the shock she — and the rest of the world — felt after Robin’s ԁеаtһ from ѕսıᴄıԁе on August 11, 2014, Zelda admitted she would rather focus on his life and legacy than dwell on his passing.

“There’s no point questioning it and no point blaming anyone else for it, and there’s no point blaming yourself or the world or whatever the case may be because it happened, so you have to continue to… live and manage,” she told ‘hotnews92’
