Jared Keeso (Wayne/Shoresy)

The “toughest guy in Letterkenny,” Wayne, was played by Jared Keeso, who made his acting debut as a football player flirting with Lois Lane on two episodes of Smallville Season 4 before landing small roles in blockbusters like Neill Blomkamp’s Elysium in 2013 or 2014’s Godzilla. A third season of the spin-off series centered on his secondary Letterkenny character, Shoresy, will be available with a Hulu subscription on June 21st, as announced by the comedy’s official X account. Subscribers to the series’ original streaming home, Crave, can expect more content from Keeso, who – as Deadline reported – signed a multi-year deal with the Canadian platform in late 2023.

Nathan Dales on Letterkenny

Nathan Dales (Daryl)

Starring as Daryl was Nathan Dales, whom you might have seen on a couple Supernatural episodes from Season 10, in the pilot episode of iZombie as an EMT, or in 2017’s Goon: Last of the Enforcers – the almost equally beloved sequel to one of best hockey moviesGoon. In 2020, he appeared in the romantic comedy The Broken Hearts Gallery and starred as Brad Vickers in video game-based horror movie, Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City, the following year. We hate to be a poopy-pants, but there is nothing new on the horizon for the actor that we can report on at the moment.

Michelle Mylett on Letterkenny

Michelle Mylett (Katy)

Playing Wayne’s sister Katy is Michelle Mylett, who started out leading horror movies like 2013’s Antisocial and its 2015 sequel before appearing on vampire drama The Strain in 2014 and leading the interactive sci-fi movie The Complex in 2020, which makes her one of the Letterkenny cast’s top Scream Queens. In 2023, she starred alongside Shirley MacLaine and Game of Thrones cast member Peter Dinklage in American Dreamer. Letterkenny Season 12 is her last major effort we can mention for now.

K. Trevor Wilson on Letterkenny

K. Trevor Wilson (Dan)

Someone known to always “appreciates” Katy is Squirrely Dan – played by K. Trevor Wilson, who got his start on the Goosebumps TV show in the mid-1990s, and later appeared alongside fellow Canadian and Letterkenny guest star Jay Baruchel in 2013’s The Art of the Steal and the surreal comedy series Man Seeking Woman on FXX. The “Talking Shit” episode of Netflix’s Comedians of the World shows some of the best stand-up from the comic, who also served as a judge on Canada’s version of Roast Battle in 2021. At the moment, as he told the Idaho Press, Wilson is focusing on his stand-up tour, but also said he would “happily put on the overalls again” if Dan were to get his own spin-off.

Dylan Playfair on Letterkenny

Dylan Playfair (Reilly)

Reilly on Letterkenny is just one of many hockey players Dylan Playfair has portrayed (such as Marty Howe in 2013’s Mr. Hockey: The Gordie Howe Story and Coach T from Disney+’s The Mighty Ducks: Game Changers cast) since debuting in the 2012 found footage thrillerGrave Encounters 2. The real-life athlete – also known for playing Gaston’s son, Gil, in Disney Channel’s Descendants movies – has multiple projects in the works, including a horror movie called The Legend of Johnny Jones due for October 2024, an action thriller called Used Mercs in post-production, an action comedy called Above the Line now in production, and a ‘90s-era drama called Generation Angst in pre-production.

Andrew Herr on Letterkenny

Andrew Herr (Jonesy)

Reilly’s buddy, Jonesy, on Letterkenny is also just one of many hockey players Andrew Herr has portrayed, including his debut as Mark Howe (Dylan Playfair’s onscreen brother – go figure) in 2013’s Mr. Hockey: The Gordie Howe Story and the aforementioned Goon: Last of the Enforcers. He also starred opposite Zendaya in Disney Channel’s original movie Zapped in 2014, played Brian Austin Green in Liftetime’s The Unauthorized Saved by the Bell Story, and appeared on Amazon Prime’s Upload in the small role of Byron in 2020. Currently, there are no new projects to report on, but we are sure that Herr will be sniping hits soon enough.

Tyler Johnston on Letterkenny

Tyler Johnston (Stewart)

Tyler Johnston’s scene-stealing role as Letterkenny’s lead skid, Stewart, came after working for more than a decade in the business – a career that also includes recurring roles on Showtime’s The L Word, on the AMC-original-turned-Netflix-exclusive The Killing, and alongside the Supernatural cast, to name a few. He also starred in several episodes of Hulu’s Shut Eye in 2016 (the same year Letterkenny premiered) and most recently appeared in an episode of Canadian crime procedural Hudson & Rex in 2024. Whatever Johnston’s big follow-up to Letterkenny will be is anybody’s guess at the moment.

Evan Stern on Letterkenny

Evan Stern (Roald)

Stewart’s right-hand skid is Roald – played by Evan Stern, who made his feature-length film debut in 2014’s RoboCop remake and starred in the low-budget, Lovecraftian horror gem The Void (one of the best horror movies on Peacock) in 2016. He recently lent his voice to the 2023’s Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora – a video game based on James Cameron’s sci-fi franchise – and can next be seen starring alongside Michael Jai White in Sunset Superman, which is now in post-production.

Jacob Tierney

Jacob Tierney (Glen)

The co-creator of Letterkenny and actor behind flamboyant pastor, Glen, is Jacob Tierney, who starred on Nickelodeon’s anthology horror TV show Are You Afraid of the Dark? years before writing, directing, producing, and starring in his own more mature films, such as The Trotsky in 2009 or 2014’s Preggoland. He was writing and producing a remake of Mary Hartman, Mary Hartman with Schitt’s Creek cast member Emily Hampshire until it was scrapped in 2022. There is no word at the moment on if he will return to helm any episodes of Shoresy Season 3 or reprise his role as Benny, but I imagine Jared Keeso will involve his longtime collaborator in some way.

Lisa Codrington on Letterkenny

Lisa Codrington (Gail)

Lisa Codrington – who plays Mod3an’s pub owner and Glen’s eventual boss, Gail, on Letterkenny – has appeared on a few episodes of Schitt’s Creek, as well as other hit shows like Orphan BlackThe Handmaid’s Tale, and Bad Blood in a major recurring role. She currently serves as a writer and co-producer for a Canadian crime drama called Sight Unseen.

Kamilla Kowal (Bonnie McMurray)

Fellow Mod3an’s server Bonnie McMurray is easily Kamilla Kowal’s most famous role so far. However, her otherwise brief appearance in Sophia Coppola’s acclaimed A24 moviePriscilla, in 2023 shows signs of a strong post-Letterkenny career. According to IMDb, she has a sci-fi thriller in post-production called Junction Row, but she also just told The Chive in March 2024 that she is “open for hire.”

Dan Petronijevic on Letterkenny

Dan Petronijevic (McMurray)

As Bonnie’s older brother (simply referred to as McMurray), we have Dan Petronijevic, who has more than 100 acting credits under his belt – plenty of which overlap with his fellow Letterkenny cast members, such Are You Afraid of the Dark? with Jacob Tierney, 19-2 with Jared Keeso, and Pretty Hard Cases with Lisa Codrington. He also played a frat bro in two straight-to-video American Pie movies, lent his voice to series like Braceface and Beyblade, had an uncredited appearance in 2016’s Suicide Squad as Anvil, and played Detective “Boz” in Spiral: From the Book of Saw in 2021. In 2024, he joined the cast of another Crave-original comedy called The Trades.

Melanie Scrofano on Letterkenny

Melanie Scrofano (Mrs. McMurray)

As McMurray’s wife (simply known as Mrs. McMurray), we have Melanie Scrofano, who was also in one of the Saw movies (the sixth one) and a few other notable horror movies, such as the 2019 horror-comedy favoriteReady or Not. She recently made a guest appearance on and directed four episodes of SyFy’s SurrealEstate and, according to Collider, is reprising her role as Wynonna Earp in a feature-length continuation of the fantasy/Western series called Wynonna Earp: Vengeance, which will premiere on Tubi in 2024.

Clark Backo on Letterkenny

Clark Backo (Rosie)

Melanie Scrofano also had a recurring role on Designated Survivor, much like Clark Backo, who played Wayne’s “sweetie,” Rosie, and has a few other credits in common with the Letterkenny cast members. Before the series dropped its final curtain call, Backo starred in Apple TV+’s The Changeling cast and her first major follow-up will be the upcoming superhero movieVenom: The Last Dance, which is set to release in October 2024.

Kaniehtiio 'Tiio' Horn as Tanis on Letterkenny

Kaniehtiio Horn (Tanis)

Clark Backo also had a guest appearance on Netflix’s Hemlock Grove, on which Kaniehtiio “Tiio” Horn was a series regular before playing Tanis – one of the toughest Letterkenny characters and one of the most unique characters of her versatile career, which also includes a recurring role on Amazon’s The Man in the High Castle for Amazon and Brandon Cronenberg’s inventive thriller, Possessor, in 2020. She most recently joined the voice cast for Fox’s Grimsburg and, as Deadline reported, is currently working on her feature-length directorial debut, Seeds, which she also wrote and stars in.
