Mila Kunis was just 14 years old when she met 20-year-old Ashton Kutcher on the set of That ’70s Show. Although the show aired from August 1998 to May 2006, the pair were never anything more than just friends during the production of That ’70s Show.

Kunis admits the thought of a romantic relationship with Kutcher felt inappropriate “on all levels,” back then. During an appearance on The Late Late Show in 2016, the Bad Moms star admitted she and Kutcher had more of a “brother-sister” relationship on set. “Like, Ashton did my chemistry homework for me.”

“It was really awkward because I’m like a 19-year-old kid,” Ashton Kutcher explained to Howard Stern. “She was 14! She was like my little sister. I wanted to make sure she was okay.”

On a recent appearance on The One Show, Kutcher confirmed, due to Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis’ 5-year age difference, there were zero romantic connections between he and Kunis during the show’s production, despite their on-screen relationship. “And then to go back and have it be this new shared experience was really wild and nostalgic.”

Mila Kunis lied about her age to land the role in the hit comedy. “I told them I was gonna be 18, which, you know — I’ve said this story before — it’s not technically a lie, cause at one point— given all things went right — I was gonna be 18,” she explained.
