Mila Kunis remembers filming finale of That ’70s Show: ‘I just wanted someone to hold me’

Kunis is set to appear in the show's upcoming spin-off, That '90s Show.

Mila Kunis grew up with Jackie Burkhart, her superficial, never-not-a-girlfriend, yet somehow always lovable character on That ’70s Show.

With The Ellen Show airing its final episode on Thursday, DeGeneres asked Kunis to recall her feelings when the sitcom ended in 2006.

“On the day, I couldn’t stop crying,” Kunis said. “I literally reverted to being a little kid and I just wanted someone to hold me.”

Kunis was 14, the youngest member of the cast, when she filmed the 1998 pilot. When the eighth and final season came to a close, she was 22.

“I went through puberty and high school and kissing, like everything,” Kunis said about the years she spent filming the series.

Now at 38, Kunis is returning to Point Place, Wisc., in Netflix’s That ’90s Show. Topher Grace, Laura Prepon, Ashton Kutcher, and Wilmer Valderrama are also set to take part in the spin-off, along with Kurtwood Smith and Debra Jo Rupp.

This won’t be the first time the cast has reunited. Prepon, Kunis, and Valderrama visited the set of Kutcher and Danny Masterson’s The Ranch in 2016… though it’s been a while since we’ve seen the whole crew in the Forman basement.
