Diamonds Are for Heather is the second Christmas special of Only Fools and Horses and aired in December 1982.
As the festive season arrives, Derek ‘Del Boy’ Trotter is overcome with loneliness and wallows in self-pity as he attends a party in The Nag’s Head with Grandad and Rodney.
But he suddenly meets an attractive woman at the bar and the two instantly hit it off.
Del Boy is over the moon with his new found love, Heather, and her young son, and soon plans to ask her to marry him.
He even goes as far to tell Rodney and Grandad he’s going to leave their family home in Nelson Mandela House, Peckham, to move in with his new family.
However, the blossoming romance runs flat when Heather decides to give her marriage to husband Vic another go – leaving Del heartbroken.
