Kylie Jenner shows off her smokey eyeshadow look and plump pout in a glam throwback shot promoting Kylie Cosmetics
Kylie Jenner gave fans a close look at her glamorous makeup in a sizzling throwback selfie shared to the official Kylie Cosmetics Instagram on Saturday.
In the shot, which was taken this past January, the 24-year-old mogul sported a brown smokey eyeshadow look that gave her a sultry gaze.
She complimented her eyeshadow by applying a matte nude lipstick to her famously plump pout.
She modeled a sizable silver chain necklace and several earrings while taking the glammed-up selfie. She also had on a chunky ring.
Her gorgeous brunette locks were styled straight and parted to one side.
The influencer initially founded Kylie Cosmetics in 2014, and its first products were made available to the public the following year.
Jenner has also collaborated with several of her family members on various offerings over the years.
In April of 2020, Forbes reported that the social media figure had become the youngest billionaire in the world after looking at her earnings from the brand.
At the time, she told the magazine that ‘I didn’t expect anything. I did not foresee the future. But [the recognition] feels really good. That’s a nice pat on the back.’
However, the media outlet later revealed that Kylie Cosmetics had been overvalued by a significant amount and corrected their previous statements.
Jenner spoke about heading her company during an interview with Harper’s Bazaar, where she expressed disbelief about the success of her brand.
During the sit-down, she stated: ‘I didn’t think it was possible. I didn’t think that this could really be my job.’
The influencer then noted that she had been interested in cosmetics ever since her early years.
‘I always loved makeup, though. I wanted to watch tutorials. I would play with my own makeup or my mom’s. I’ve always loved makeup, and I was obsessed with lipstick,’ she said.
Jenner went on to state that ‘hopefully we can expand and get a big infrastructure behind Kylie Cosmetics, and go worldwide and get more amazing people on the team to expand the business.’
The influencer’s mother, Kris, also added that she was proud to see how far her daughter had come over the years.
‘She’s been so amazing, the way she has grown this company…she had this vision when she was 15, and it’s been remarkable to watch it come to life, to step back and see it evolve,’ she said.
Jenner’s post came just over a month after she gave birth to her second child and first son, Wolf Webster.
The influencer shares her baby boy, as well as her daughter Stormi, with her on-again-off-again partner, Travis Scott.
The two were first linked when they spent time at the Coachella music festival in 2017, and they were often spotted in each other’s company after then.
The social media personality later gave birth to the couple’s first child the following February.
Jenner and Scott, 30, shocked many when they went their separate ways in September of 2019.
However, the couple went on to quarantine together during the early stage of the pandemic for their daughter’s well-being.
The two eventually reconciled, and it was revealed that the influencer was pregnant for a second time last August.
The entrepreneur eventually gave birth to Wolf on February 2nd, and she shared a black-and-white photo featuring his hand to her Instagram account not long after his arrival.
