In 2013, news broke that Elizabeth Olsen would play Scarlet Witch, and she told Business Insider that she was looking forward to acting alongside Aaron Taylor-Johnson, who she starred in Godzilla in with. She said, “It’s also fun because even though in “Godzilla” we play a husband and wife, we didn’t have a lot of scenes together … I’m so excited to get to work with each other more … like actually work with each other.”

Olsen has said that her co-stars in the Marvel movies have made more than her: in an interview with The Telegraph, she said, “I don’t always get paid equally, but then I also haven’t had multiple [award] nominations. I don’t know how much weight I carry, I don’t know how to value myself.”
